UrbanSpirit is the place to be for the Youth in
Mission Event, part of the Churchwide Gathering of Presbyterian Women, July 11-15 in Louisville. In this intense immersion, teenagers from around the country will experience a simulation of life at minimum wage in America. Maybe you would like to help. We're looking for up to 10 young adults, age 21 and over, to participate fully as "family group leaders" for the event. You must plan to arrive in Louisville by noon July 10 and stay through lunch July 15. Your registration fee would be waived, and we would pay you a small stipend to defray your cost of getting to Louisville. Plus, we'll waive your fee if you come back with your own group another time. Complete it and return it by mail no later than June 1 to: Deb Conrad Then, you must request an FBI records check on yourself: http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/fprequest.htm. This report is available only to you; if you are chosen for this event, UrbanSpirit will reimburse the $18 application fee. When you receive the report, send a copy to Deb at the same address.
